The BEST way to pack a suitcase

How to pack a suitcase Yourdreammaker.com

The best way to pack a suitcase? Roll your clothes!

Roll your clothes! Stuff underwear and socks in your shoes, consolidate your supplements and medications, and plan to wear layers to reduce the total amount of clothes you need to bring. I always bring 7-10 days worth of socks and underwear, and enough clothes to last me that long without needing to do laundry.

Traveling so often for business trips across weather patterns I’ve also come to rely in these life savers:
Wear your coat and boots (or heaviest shoes)
Always pack a corkscrew and an umbrella
You can survive with three pairs of shoes, a pair of diamond (or simulated) studs and your wedding ring – no need to pack your closet!
Packing in travel cubes keeps you organized and ready to leave early for red eye flights
You can buy it when you get there – pack only that one liquids bag and get what you need there so you an carry your bag on
    Pack extra sunglasses
Pack only the makeup and beauty products you used yesterday

I used to pack a 70lb bag and a carry on bag plus a carry on for my laptop and plane essentials, I’m proud to have cut it down to a carry on bag and a carry on suitcase for three trips now, including winter weather!

Those are all great additions, Shari, thanks! I especially like the idea of packing a corkscrew! 🙂

I’ve lived that life and am making a giant leap to woirnkg at home with a coffee cup in one hand, my dog curled up on the couch beside me, clicking away on my laptop editing, writing, and recharging. I’m sure I’ll be back to play, eventually.
